Plenary Council  “Year of Listening and Discernment”

Pilgrimage of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Diocesan Plenary Candle, to be hosted this week in our Parish

We welcome the image of Our Lady and the Diocesan Plenary Candle this week in our Parish and a special meeting with Sophy Morley on the evening of 7th May at 7.30pm. We invite every parishioner to take part on this night. As we continue the preparation to the Plenary Council 2020, Sophy will lead us in prayer and fill us in with important information on the next stage of the Year of Listening and Discerning.

WE WELCOME AS CHILDREN OF GOD – Yenuk Joseph Perera, child of Niresh & Francisco and Nixon King, child of Luke & Rebecca.

PARISH MEETING: On Tuesday evening at 7.30pm Sophy Morley from the Diocese of Sale will hold the first preparation meeting for our parish for the Diocesan Assembly which will be held in September. I encourage every interested parishioner to please attend.

STEWARDSHIP ENVELOPES – will be available for collection at all Masses next weekend. This new set of envelopes will be up to July. Receipts for all giving including Credit Card and Direct Debit will be issued in mid-July.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: this Saturday after the 6.00pm Mass. Join us for adoration.

SPECIAL COLLECTION –

Good Shepherd Sunday – This weekend special collection for the Education of Seminarians Bursary Fund will be taken up.

PIETY STALL – Holy Beginnings piety stall opens every 2nd weekend of the month. Month of May is on the 11th & 12th. For orders and enquiries, call Rick & Anita on 0450 782 558.

CHOSEN CONFERENCE – All youth and young adults between 18-30 years old are invited to join this conference organised by Jesus Youth. Its focus is on evangelising young people and nurturing their missionary initiatives. 4th – 7th July at Sacred Heart Girl’s College Melbourne.
