NOTICE

Message from our Parish Priest

Dear Parishioner,

During this past week Sr Grace Onaivi SON, Superior General of the Sisters of the Nativity, contacted me with the news we’ve been eagerly awaiting, that the visa for Sr Julie Ogbole has been issued and that she will arrive in Australia later this month. Sr Julie will be a Pastoral Associate for St Thomas the Apostle Parish, partly in St Thomas the Apostle Primary School and partly involved more broadly in the pastoral ministries of our parish. We look forward to making Sr Julie welcome in our parish. I urge you to pray for her as she prepares to travel.

Catholics across Australia have also been urged to pray for rain in the drought affected parts of our country where many families and communities are experiencing desperate circumstances.

May God bless you all, Fr Denis

RCIA – Period of Enquiry.- Please pray for Margaret Grech, Junghee Youm and Dhaneshi Mannapperuma as they continue their journey of faith. We pray that their lives are transformed by encountering Jesus in his love, teachings and blessings. Next period in this year’s RCIA process will be the Rite of Acceptance to be celebrated on November 17that 10.45 m Mass
