Sacramental Program Overview

As a general guide, our parish offers the Sacraments in the following sequence and age groups:

• Reconciliation – Term 1: Offered to children in Grade 3 and above
  Pre-requisite: Baptism
• First Holy Communion – Term 3: Offered to children in Grade 4 and above
  Pre-requisites: Baptism and Reconciliation
• Confirmation – Term 2: Offered to children in Grade 6 and above
  Pre-requisites: Baptism, Reconciliation, and First Holy Communion

Each sacramental program includes a combination of formation and faith-building activities, such as:

• Parent Formation Night
• Commitment Mass
• Parent & Child Workshop
• Weekly weekend Mass attendance
• Completion of online tasks
• Catechism sessions (for children attending non-Catholic schools)
