Sacraments for Children

Each sacramental program includes a combination of formation and faith-building activities, such as:

• Parent Formation Night
• Parent & Child Workshop
• Weekly Sunday Mass attendance for the duration of the program
• Completion of online tasks
• Catechism sessions (for children attending non-Catholic schools)

Sacraments in 2026

As a general guide, our parish offers the Sacraments in the following sequence and age groups:

• Reconciliation 2026 – Term 1: Offered to children in Grade 3 and above
  Pre-requisite: Baptism
• Confirmation 2026 – Term 2: Offered to children in Grade 6 and above
  Pre-requisites: Baptism, Reconciliation, and First Holy Communion
• First Holy Communion Enrolment 2026 – Term 3: Offered to children in Grade 4 and above
  Pre-requisites: Baptism and Reconciliation
• Teen Sacrament Intention Form 2026 (RCIC Program) – Offered to children aged between 14 – 17 years

As a general guide, our parish offers the Sacraments in the following sequence and age groups:

• First Holy Communion 2027 – Term 1: Offered to children in Grade 4 and above
  Pre-requisites: Baptism and Reconciliation
• Confirmation 2027 – Term 2: Offered to children in Grade 6 and above
  Pre-requisites: Baptism, Reconciliation, and First Holy Communion
• Reconciliation 2027 – Term 3: Offered to children in Grade 3 and above
  Pre-requisite: Baptism

Enrolments for all sacraments will open one month before the Parent Formation Night. We’ll advertise this in the church, the parish bulletin, and on our Facebook page. The link to the enrolment form will also be available on this page for easy access.
