Dear Parishioners,

During this week I will be away from Monday to Wednesday at the Victorian and Tasmanian Directors for Clergy Life & Ministry for each Diocese. This ministry concerns the ongoing formation for all the priests and deacons in the areas of human and spiritual formation, and academic and pastoral formation. This ongoing formation continues throughout the life of each priest and deacon.

It reminds us that we are called to ongoing formation as Catholics in our parishes. The Parish Retreat Night this coming Wednesday is one such opportunity in our parish, as are the many resources on FORMED.ORG which every parishioner has free access to in our parish. As with priests and deacons, there is no one who can claim that there is no room for ongoing formation in their lives.
