Dear Parishioners,

During the past week many children have participated in the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. These were not celebrations for the children but for the families who were welcoming their children to this sacrament which has great power for forgiveness and healing in our lives. On Tuesday evening, 9th April, this opportunity will exist for all parishioners as, together, we prepare for the coming Holy Week and Easter celebrations. It is always humbling for a priest to witness the power of the encounter with Jesus that occurs in this sacrament and those who participate in it. It is one of the great gifts of God to the church. Please take the opportunity to participate.
