Dear Parishioners,

This weekend Bishop O’Regan has celebrated a Mass to formally acknowledge the conclusion of the worldwide Year of Youth. During this year St Thomas the Apostle Parish has celebrated its first youth festival, has formed youth leaders for our parish, and commenced a regular youth ministry within the parish. Our young people have taken their place alongside other young people in our Diocese and have assisted in the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation. We congratulate our young parishioners. We are very blessed by your presence and leadership. We pray that God will continue to pour blessings upon you, and to bless our whole parish through you.

Ordinations:

In the coming two months Deacons Hiep Nguyen and Avinash George will be Ordained Priests for the Diocese of Sale. Deacon Hiep will be Ordained at St Mary’s Cathedral, Sale, on Saturday 15th December, and Deacon Avinash will be Ordained at Sacred Heart Church, Mampoyil, in Kerala, India. Please pray for them in your family prayer as they prepare for their ordination.
